LONDON, October 3- Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski concedes he may be forced to leave the club in order to secure regular game-time.
The World Cup winner has found his opportunities at the Emirates limited of late, notching up just 128 minutes of playing times across all competitions thus far in the 2014/15 campaign.
Last season the Germany international was critical of Arsene Wenger’s preference to play him off the bench, and it appears that this dissatisfaction is now growing.
“I am a full-blooded player, a street player and I love competition,” he told RTL.
“If I don’t have this competition every weekend then a change must occur. We’ll have to see but I have to at least give it a thought.
“I have been with Germany a long time and have gone through phases where I did not play a lot at club level but was convincing with the national team. That is no problem,” he added.
Podolski joined the Gunners from FC Köln in 2012, with his current contract expiring at the end of the season.
