NAIROBI, Kenya, September 12-The Kenya Lionesses bowed out of the Main Cup quarter finals at the IRB Women’s Sevens World Series qualifiers after suffering heavy losses in their opening two pool fixtures in Hong Kong on Friday morning.
The Lionesses fell to a 0-31 defeat at the hands of Japan, before succumbing to a 0-45 rout to Fiji in their second fixture before falling 5-19 to Argentina to complete their pool assignments winless.
The semi finalists of the tournament will earn a berth in the 2014-15 World series.
